Cogsdale | Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority improves customer service with Cogsdale Mobile Work

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE: Cogsdale is pleased to announce that Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (WSA) recently implemented Cogsdale Mobile Work. Cogsdale worked with the Water Department, Customer Service, Field Technicians, Information Technology, and the Geographic Information Systems teams to assist WSA in moving away from the paper-based workflow that was in place.

Cogsdale’s Mobile Work solution has been developed to meet the unique needs of public sector clients providing real time exchange of information for field crews. Service technicians with tablets or smartphones are able to view service order, customer, and GIS information in real time. Organizations see a reduction in paper usage and re-work as Mobile Work provides all data electronically; from service order requests to final reports. Customer Service is improved as a result of the most current information being available in the system to all users.

Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority is an early adopter of Cogsdale Mobile Work. Cogsdale enjoyed working with a client that was interested in leveraging ESRI GIS and field tools on a product that has the added benefit of fully integrating with Cogsdale Customer Service Management and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
